On Tuesday, February 26 and Wednesday, February 27, 2013, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be performing survey and inspection work on the Jefferson Street, Cass Street, and Jackson Street moveable bridges over the Des Plaines River.
The bridges will remain open to vehicular traffic but temporary lane closures will be in place between the hours of 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM. Drivers are advised to exercise caution when travelling in the area.
